Bouncy, boisterous and lots of fun, Sonny is a big character with a lot of love to give!

A golden retriever mix, he is a gorgeous young boy who adores people and would be on the receiving end of attention 24/7 if he had things his way.

Sonny has boundless energy and adores playing chase and tug of war. He gets along with some other dogs and plays endlessly with his doggy friends. He would need a family or companion who can meet his energy needs, taking him for walks and providing plenty of stimulation through play to help keep his energy in check. Potential adopters must maintain his retriever coat and prevent mats from forming through regular brushing. Sonny lives for cuddles and will flop at your feet at every opportunity for a belly rub.

Sonny is currently a doggy teenager which means he does try and push boundaries from time to time. Fortunately, he is keenly motivated by food which means that someone with experience of dogs and knowledge of positive behaviour reinforcement would be able to improve his manners in no time!
