A dying newborn calf had been abandoned on the road, found by Animal Aid rescuers barely breathing. She was unresponsive and would have died within just a few hours without urgent medical care. For five days we gave her fluids, medicine and kept her warm, but there were many times we thought she wouldn’t make it.

But on the 5th day, little Merry stood up and walked. Watch her miraculous recovery!

Today Merry lives at Animal Aid Unlimited’s shelter in permanent sanctuary.
