We don’t know how long the little expired body was stuck in this mother’s birth canal.

But we were so glad someone saw this crisis and called us to rescue her. Once back in our hospital, our medical team saw that although she obviously had other puppies inside, she was not having contractions. We performed an emergency C-section, and delivered the other babies. When they were a little older and their mom had been spayed, we returned the new family to their beautiful original neighborhood where she tells all her friends her exciting story!
