A crowd of people gathered round a young dog one of them had lifted from the road moments after she had been hit by a car.

She had sustained a terrible wound on her head and on two of her legs. But the community wasn’t about to let this gentle girl die.

They immediately called Animal Aid and we rushed her into treatment, cleaning and bandaging her wounds and giving her the rest she’d need to heal. And boy did she heal! In just 20 days, meet delightful Cherry!
