He no longer could walk.

This gentle boy was hit by a car and his spine was damaged. He couldn’t bear weight, his hind feet flexed backwards and we thought he might be paralyzed for life. But little by little we saw signs of progress and neither he nor his caregivers would give up. He didn’t have blood or fractures, but life as he knew it appeared to be over.
