Why supporters believe in Unlimited Unleashed

One of the most rewarding parts of launching Unlimited Unleashed has been hearing from supporters who have followed Animal Aid’s journey over many years.

People who have celebrated the recoveries, shared our stories and stood beside us as we’ve grown from a small rescue operation into one of India’s leading animal rescue organizations.

Many of those supporters understand better than anyone what Animal Aid has achieved despite operating from rented facilities and with limited resources.

Following the launch of Unlimited Unleashed, we received this message from long-time supporters Sue Merchant and Deb Carrel in the UK.

“Thank you so much for the update on Unlimited Unleashed’s launch. Deb and I were once again reduced to tears seeing what Animal Aid has achieved for Udaipur’s sick and injured street animals over all these years, often with such limited resources.

We have felt so very proud to have supported Animal Aid since 2017, when by pure chance we came across your incredible rescue and rehabilitation of Kalu and beloved Deepak. The videos of their journeys left us with a powerful and heartfelt desire to do all we could to support you.

Around the world, charities of all kinds have faced significant declines in donations over the past decade. Rising living costs have undoubtedly played a part, but so too has growing public scepticism about how charitable funds are used.

In contrast, our nearly ten years of personal experience with Animal Aid has shown us that, at Animal Aid, the animals come first every single time. You only have to follow Animal Aid’s journey to see, feel and understand the enormity of what has been achieved over the past 25 years.
