Why supporters believe in Unlimited Unleashed

One of the most rewarding parts of launching Unlimited Unleashed has been hearing from supporters who have followed Animal Aid’s journey over many years.

People who have celebrated the recoveries, shared our stories and stood beside us as we’ve grown from a small rescue operation into one of India’s leading animal rescue organizations.

Many of those supporters understand better than anyone what Animal Aid has achieved despite operating from rented facilities and with limited resources.

Following the launch of Unlimited Unleashed, we received this message from long-time supporters Sue Merchant and Deb Carrel in the UK.

“We have felt so very proud to have proactively supported Animal Aid since 2017 when by pure chance, we happened across their incredible rescue and rehabilitation of firstly, ‘Kalu’ (the dog with no face!) and beloved ‘Deepak’ who had lost all but one leg having been hit by a train! Both graphic and uncensored You Tube videos left us with the most powerful and heartfelt need to do all we could for this small, family run rescue centre which was clearly trying with all its might and with such limited resources to MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE to the lives and well-being of Udaipur’s ownerless street animals!

The world over, it’s reported that donations to charities of all kinds have suffered big drops over the past 5-10 years; clearly partly due to the ever-increasing costs of living for us all but also partly due to the general public’s disillusionment with the disproportionately excessive salaries of CEO’s etc.

In contrast, our near 10-year personal experience of Animal Aid Unlimited has proven to us that with AAU, it’s the ANIMALS who come first every single time! You only have to follow AAU’s journey to see, feel and understand on a deep spiritual level the enormity of what AAU has already achieved over these past 25 yrs!  In our view, with the support and a personal commitment made by our fellow AAU supporters, the Unlimited Unleashed dream can become the deserved reality it’s meant to be! Without AAU, hundreds of thousands of helpless, voiceless animals would have died over the past 25 years; many in horrible ways had this charitable organisation not existed!
