I’m affectionate and enjoy spending time with people while still being happy doing my own thing. Give me some walks, playtime and mental stimulation and I’ll be a very content companion.
Date of birth: June 2024

Size: Medium – 20kg

I came to Animal Aid as a puppy, no more than around three months old, with a small wound on my head. Thankfully, it healed quickly and I was ready to return ‘home’ but when the team at Animal Aid tried to return me, nobody in the area knew who I belonged to and my mother couldn’t be found. I stayed at Animal Aid as an orphan and now, more than two years later, I think it’s time that I find a home of my own!
I’m fairly independent and don’t need constant attention to feel content.
I could potentially live with another dog after slow introductions.
I’m comfortable having children around me, but I would be happiest living in an adult-only home.
Around people: I’m very friendly with people. I can be slightly cautious when meeting someone new, but I’ll still approach to say hello and quickly show my friendly side.
Around other dogs: I have plenty of playful energy and could potentially live with another compatible dog after careful introductions. If I don’t get enough exercise and stimulation, I can sometimes start conflicts with other dogs.
Energy level: I have a balanced energy level and don’t need constant activity or attention. Some nice daily walks alongside play and mental enrichment should keep me happy and content.
