I’m a big-hearted, goofy boy who loves people and makes friends wherever I go!

I’m easy-going, silly and full of love. I might be a little slower at learning than some dogs, but what I lack in smarts, I more than make up for in charm.

My rescue story

I was abandoned at a government veterinary hospital after losing the ability to walk on my back legs. Thanks to the care I received, I made a full recovery and can walk again. Now, I’m ready to find the loving family I’ve always deserved.

Important notes

Due to a past head injury, I may need a little extra patience while learning.

I’d love a home with another playful dog to keep me company.

I can be protective around food and need continued positive training.

Behavior

Around people: I’m friendly and love meeting new people. I’m happy being handled, but I’m still learning my leash manners and my recall. I can be a little slow to learn, but I always try my best.

Around other dogs: I love playing with other dogs, but I don’t always understand their body language or boundaries. I can get a little overexcited sometimes when I play too roughly and this can cause conflicts.

Energy level: I’m a playful, active boy who loves spending time with my people and dog friends. I enjoy games, adventures and lots of opportunities to have fun.
