I had a bit of a rough start to life and this means I can be a bit timid when I first meet new people, but underneath my shy exterior is an affectionate girl who loves attention. Once I know I’m safe with you, I’ll never be far away. Having been found alone as a puppy, I’m always looking for company.
Date of birth: June 2025
Favorite toy: Soft toys
Favorite activity: Spending time with people
Sex: Female
Size: Medium – 15kg
Loves: Attention
I was found alone as a young puppy by a member of the Animal Aid team. Nobody could find my mother or any of my family members, despite the rescue team returning to search the area several times. The kind people at Animal Aid took me back to the shelter to make sure I was safe but now that I’m growing up, I’m ready to find a family of my own.
I need a patient family who will give me time to build my confidence.
I’m comfortable being handled and picked up.
I could potentially live with other friendly dogs with slow introductions.
Around people: I’m sweet and gentle but can be nervous when I first meet someone. Once I feel comfortable, I love affection and will actively seek attention from the people I know and trust.
Around other dogs: I’m peaceful around other dogs and don’t look for conflict. My gentle nature means I can sometimes be bullied by other dogs in the shelter.
Energy level: I have a balanced energy level with a gentle personality. I would benefit from a patient home where I can settle in at my own pace.
