You’re about to enter an emotional rollercoaster. 

Grab a handkerchief because this little boy’s opening scenes are unforgettably sad. And that handkerchief might be mopping up tears of joy when you see this angel’s complete recovery from horrendously degloved front legs.

Degloving is the term used when something snags the skin and tears it off the muscle. Pippin was covered in blood, and had to sit up on his hind legs to keep from putting any weight on his front feet. His pain was too great. He sobbed when we approached him.

Fear filled his eyes on the treatment table but as soon as we were able to assess his wounds we were pretty certain (though Pippin couldn’t yet know) that his story would end beautifully.

And after many gentle caresses after such a traumatic day, little Pippin starts to get sleeeeeepy, sleeeeepy…. And when he awakens he has warm food, delivered by Radha, whose love in his time of crisis, Pippin will never forget.
