Even in this puppy’s first weeks, his life force sparkles around him despite a devastating open fracture wound to his paw, and a wound on his head.

He would have surely died if he hadn’t been rescued. His mother literally gave the sweetest kiss as if to say “thank you” to our rescuer as he gently lifted her baby. Once on the treatment table the darling puppy was deeply confused and exhausted, but it only took a few days for him to feel so much better that he became a persuasive little play organiser with his new friend.

We’ve called him Alvin, and he is a tribute to the fact that every life, however new, has astounding meaning, and the meaning is love.
