Tassel was a forlorn little sweetheart laying in rubbish when neighbors called Animal Aid to rescue her. She’d probably been hit by a passing car or bike, and her jaw was broken. Blood oozed from a mouth she could no longer close.
We hurried her to our hospital and when we assessed the damage, we knew the only chance she had would be surgical repair of her broken jaw. After jaw repair surgeries we couldn’t help worrying about how soon Tassel would start to eat on her own.
We needn’t have worried–she dove right into her soft food and we got a splashy tail wag in the deal! It was all uphill from that point, and Tassel quickly became not only happy, but proud! Meet this beauty now.
